By downloading, installing, or using the ScreenRat application ("App") or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. License
ScreenRat grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App for your personal or commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms.
Pro License
The "Pro" features are available for a one-time fee. This fee grants you a perpetual license to use the Pro features of the version purchased and any subsequent free updates we provide.
3. Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- Pricing: Prices are displayed on the website and are subject to change without notice.
- Refunds: Since ScreenRat offers a free version to test basic functionality (up to 2K recording), refunds for the Pro version are generally not provided unless required by law or in cases of technical failure where support cannot resolve the issue.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScreenRat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the App.
- Any unauthorized access to restricted features.
Because the App stores data locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your recordings. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure or App malfunction.
5. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
